VHS tape to DVD
Transfer your old and aging VHS video footage to higher quality DVD. We can also encode video footage onto a DVD-ROM.
What the disc will contain
We offer a standard package for footage captured from VHS tape and written to DVD.
- Video footage captured from the VHS tape.
- A navigation menu.
- An opening title for the footage.
- Label printed directly onto the disc
- A DVD jewel case to store the disc.
- Basic processing is performed to clean up any problems with original content.
Requirements for capture
What is needed to capture the footage, and create the DVD.
- A VHS tape. The better the condition of the tape, the better the quality of footage.
- Details on the footage. E.g. Location, event, etc.
Standard DVD package
The standard DVD-video package contains:
- Captured footage authored to disc.
- DVD menu.
- Title: Introduction to footage.
- Label printing on disc surface.
The standard DVD-ROM package contains:
- Captured footage encoded into a digital file.
- Autorun ability for Windows operating systems.
- Label printing on disc surface.
Pricing for standard package
Disc authoring, and discs are prices separatly. This allows us to keep pricing low, and to allow you to purchase numerous copies of your disc at an affordable price.

Notes
- Although the utmost care is taken, due to the mechanical nature of the media, we can not be held responsible for breakages.
- Due to the mechanical nature of VHS cassettes, and the lower quality of VHS footage, quality can not be guaranteed on DVD. Our best efforts will be used to restore your footage.
- Adding content to a disc results in the need for more storage space, and may necessitate the need to increase the compression ratios of video and audio. Doing so decreases the quality of that video and audio.
- The responsibility on copyright rests on the customer on an music tracks used on the disc.
